A courageous collective of Afghan young women living in different countries (Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, Australia) participated in a series of Songwrite for Peace workshop sessions from August to December 2020. Together, they wrote Ceasefire, a collective song based on their shared and varied life experiences of war, seeking refuge, and finding acceptance.

With the help of their workshop trainer, they have begun the process of rehearsing and recording the song.
